What is Alpha?

Alpha is a Christian course designed to help people who have very real questions about life and spiritual matters to discuss them in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Alpha not only provides you with a foundation for Christian belief it has the ability to lead you to a place where relationship with God through Jesus Christ becomes possible.

Have there been times in your life when you have asked yourself some basic questions of life?

Have you ever asked yourself these sort of questions. What am I doing here? Is this it? Who cares? What happens to me when I die? Why when I have most things in life do I still feel an emptiness inside me?

If that’s you then we are quite sure that Alpha will really help you. Why not just go along for one week and discover the benefits for yourself? If you don’t like it, there is no pressure placed upon you to return, but we would be grateful for your comments so please email us office@kings-church.net

What will happen?

Each session there will be a light meal served and a friendly welcoming atmosphere will make the learning great fun. A video will be shown followed by a brief discussion about the video and any issues of life that link to the subject. You don’t have to say anything if you don’t wish to as the discussion will take place in a small group setting so others will take the lead in this.

The videos provide a very helpful insight into the basics of the Christian faith. The bottom line of Alpha is that you will hear about the claims that Jesus Christ made about His ability to ‘change your life’ for eternity. That's worth your time!
