What should we say about Euthanasia?

The immediate problem facing us when we consider euthanasia is that it is ethically, medically and legally complex. It is also in a sense a dull subject that is largely concerned with the elderly. By contrast, abortion captures the imagination of the Christian community in a way that euthanasia has failed to do. In the case of abortion we think of a baby that has "all of life before it" while in the case of euthanasia we think of an old person or the terminally ill... >>
